Fulford Rose Bowl 2018
This time last week I let you all know how well our juniors are doing and how they are beginning to compete not only against golfers of a similar age but in our unions biggest adult competitions.
After George Robson’s (F) second place finish in the YUGC Amateur Championship I can confirm our girls took it one step further and dominated this years Fulford Rose Bowl at Sandburn Hall.
Poppy Rudd (M&N) won this year’s event with an outstanding nett 65 pipping Jodie Himsworth (F) as her nett 66 fell 1 shot short. It was also a junior finish for third & fourth as Hannah Kelly (F) and Beth Norton (O) both finished up with nett 70’s.
Thanks Sandburn Hall for hosting this years event and the 53 players competing for this year’s trophy.
