John Masiak hosts great Presidents Day
York Union President John Masiak held a highly successful Presidents Day at Pike Hills on Sunday. 28 players representing all 12 clubs in the York Union along with President elect for the Yorkshire Union, Martin Greaves. It was a very close match between all 7 teams (playing a Texas Scramble format). All teams scored level par or under and 6 teams had a net score below 60 ! The handicap adjustment ensured that Steve Wood, Mark Mattison, Dennis Jones and Nigel Jones prevailed with a great score of 57.55 !
Well played everyone - the round was played in great spirit and it was a fantastic day to mark John's year as president.
