Two excellent rounds of 76 and 74 saw Charles Wright (Malton & Norton) claim the Junior Championship by 4 shots from Tadcaster's Max Hollinghurst (78,76) with Cameron Ferguson (Heworth) coming 3rd just one shot further back (and definitely rueing the 2 x 9's he took !).  Some good golf on display in the afternoon from reigning champion Charlie Foster who came back with the low round of the day (72) after a disappointing 89 in the morning meant he was always likely to relinquish his title.

The Seward Trophy was combined with the Junior Champs for the first time (under the excellent guidance of new Junior organiser Colin Riddell) - Jake Jennison of Heworth claimed the title with an excellent net 68, from Matthew Wilkinson (Tadcaster net 70) and Fred Turnbull (York net 71).
