Dolling drives home to win Amateur
In absolutely birdie fest at the top of the leaderboard - the top 3 managed 26 birdies and 2 eagles in the 36 hole competition. Don't be fooled into thinking it was easy though - Matt finished level par to win by 3 shots (from both Steve and Tom) after late night drive back from Scotland the evening before having just failed to make the cut at the Scottish Amateur event at North Berwick. Creditable mentions George Robson and Alistair Smith, who finished a further 3 shots back, both putting together two respectable rounds. Elsewhere there were some good 18 hole scores from Tom Ellerker (74 in the morning) and Nathan Wilkinson (71 in the afternoon). Huge thanks to all Pike Hills for their support on the day !
